That means its for the wrong platform, like trying to run ARM on i386. Did you get the 32 and do you have 64 or visa versa?

Ok, so i understand the problem now. This program only runs on intel platforms. Ps3 is powerpc so i would not be able to run it on the ps3. I qould need to run the program from a normal pc and hook my ps3 up to it with a special usb cable, which i dont have.

So i would need a diffrent program that supports powerpc.

The idea behind was an easy way to log any USB actions of for example the gameos, or the PSP under Linux. To sniff gameos USB you will need a USB cable with 2 male sides. Plug it in PS3 and PC and start the logger on PC.

It's just a USB cable with two male ends, I have plenty of those. If willing and if you feel up for it send me an email and ill send one to you. If you would rather opt out that's ok.

People on that thread were discussing how you can not use a normal male to male usb otherwise i would of spliced one together.

Again you faill.

There are USB cables available that make it possible to hook-up PC's by USB. These cable's aren't the standard ones (which I believe you are thinking about) and these cables make it possible to do this particular trick

I'm curious, can you run this on linux on the ps3?
https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/usb/usbmon.txt

Really if that works we don;t need his crappy app. Just run that rumble the controller and send me the dump.
