Hello i have a wico command control. it is a trackball controller for the atari 400/800 and 2600.
From my understanding of is that it is not a true trackball, what it does is it acts like a joystick.

It does not work on my 4play, i have tried an extension cable but all that works on it is the button.
Any chance we could get it to work? i can do any tests you need be to do to see if we can get it working. But i understand if you can't as you don't have one to test to support.

Not sure how a track ball would be useful if it work as a joystick? Atari has two methods. paddles and racing controller. The paddles are photometers and the racing controllers are joysticks the sends codes like r-r-r-l and l-l-l-r really fast. This tell the unit what way its moving. My guess is it's like the paddles and the 4-play cant detect it. Not much could be done unless I had it here.
