Edit: I made a video for this process: https://youtu.be/D7_1HOwdMug
. I hope it can help someone!
I made 6 DIY cables, it was actually quite easy to do. In total I made 4x 3 meter Wii cables (mainly use these for classic pro controllers, one of the best controllers ever made in my opinion) and 2x 1m n64 cables. The n64 ones were super easy as you only need 3 wires to solder. The wii ones are only a little more difficult because two cables have to connect to the same hdmi pin. With a steady hand, good soldering tin and a little flux this was also doable.
I uploaded a small gallery of me making the first classic controller cable:http://imgur.com/a/oEv9N?
At this point I want to thank ulao for everything he has done. He always answers our questions and helps us out. Providing the pinouts for the cable is so amazing of him, it enables us to make our own cables without having to disassemble one of the official cables. I know that we have people there who betatested the blissbox since the beginning, I just discovered this awesome device last year. I could enjoy some retro gaming sessions with my friends and there are many more to come. Thank you ulao, keep up the good work and never give up!
