Yes evans0001, but then you are missing buttons. The best BB could do is 6 or 8 buttons. That includes u,d,l,r. This is what most people do but static here is trying to get more buttons.

Revised idea.

Rotated buttons and switching the position of L2 and R1. Seems better.

The controllers that are rotated are the ones that don't need rotation. Its pretty much just Ps2 wii classis and Snes that need it.

so code would say, if not senes rotate left.
always swap l2 and R1

I dont really get that weird l r swapping? seems like a weird thing to change? Or did you mean you mad a change to your logic? Not sure if I need to make that swap in the arcade mode.

Here's the latest idea for an Arcade mode

Hack PS2 or Wii Classic controller and connect into arcade control panel and Blissbox
Wire Joystick to d-pad.
Wire L2/z2 to where R1/z1 should be on the arcade control panel
Wire R1/z1 to where L2/z2 should be on the arcade control panel

If the arcade panel is used with a different adapter like a brooks or ps360+ make a HDMI breakout for the control panel for fast changeover.
The HDMI breakout will give you a way to have the R1 L2 switched when plugged into the Wii or PS2 controller, and normal when plugged into a PS360+/Brooks ect.

Put BB in Arcade mode

Things I think ARCADE MODE should do:

-Make all D-pads output HID11-14. Currently most D-pads are XY-axis but controllers with analog sticks have their d-pads mapped to HID because the left stick uses the XY-axis.

-L+R+S if you can not control the game it will change D-pad into XY-axis AND change XY-axis into HID 11-14 (PS1/2 GC N64 ect) Gives choice over using analog or d-pad for older games on newer controllers.
(Resets on controller change) Should make Wii-classic home button output L+R+S do this for fast change on the arcade control panel

-Rotate SNES WII-Classic PS2 face buttons by default
(If rotation is ever enabled it should reset on each controller change.)
